Graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with degrees in both Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, Bryan comes with four years of preschool teaching in Waterloo.

Originally from Muscatine, Iowa he graduated from Muscatine High School in 2018, and while attending UNI, he met his wife Cora. They married in 2022 while both student teaching. They share a son, Liam, who is two years old and keeps them very busy. They also have four cats (Aria, Myah, Cleo, and Chase) and a turtle (Sammi). Sammi has volunteered to serve as class pet during the school year.

Bryan is active in his church, in Cedar Falls, where he leads many of the youth activities and events.

“I am super excited to have the opportunity to lead and teach students about God and all sorts of fun content and academics. I look forward to meeting everyone and I am so proud and ecstatic to be a part of Ascension Lutheran Church and the Tree of Life Nature Preschool.”
